Theater Visionary & Pioneer
Bridging the Realms
Continuing the work of Antonin Artaud and Konstantin Stanislavski, Kizzmett has explored methods in ways to bring Spirit back to Theater. Having embarked on Artuad’s Path of rediscovering the Sacred in Performance via Balinese Theater and experiencing what the Balinese call Taksu; the moment when the artist completely surrenders to the form of their craft and God appears.
Like Artaud, the explorations continues with the Huni Kuin Tribe of South America. It is there where I connected with Spirit via Sacred Plant Medicine Ceremonies having sat with Ayahuasca (Grandmother) and Peyote (Grandfather).
Crossing the Threshold
Having trained extensively in Stanislavski’s “The Method” at The Actors Studio Drama School, it is there where I delve into his forgotten and intentionally overlook teachings, of “Spiritual Realism in Acting”. When the “Group Theater” returned from Russia, and begin teaching his technique, the exploration of the Metaphysical & Consciousness was not taught.
The Call to Adventure
Years later, and with more available knowledge and understanding, I have continued his exploration on the Metaphysical & Consciousness.
Return with Elixir
Like my predecessors, I have sought for ways to bring Spirit back to theater, particularly Western Theater. My search has lead to Artistic Alchemy©2023 and The Theater of Spirit© in direct response to Artuad’s pivotal work The Theater’s Double, Theater of Cruelty and Spiritual Realism in Acting by Stanislavski.
